A&M is a family run business based in Plymouth, Devon. We cover the South West of England including Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, installing and maintaining  Intruder Alarm Systems, Security Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Fire alarm systems and all electrical services from full rewires to extra points and exterior lighting.

Company History

A&M Security was launched in 1985 by Jerry Laniewski. Prior to forming the business Jerry Laniewski had over 20 years experience as a successful electrical contractor.

The company was joined in 1998 by eldest son Daniel, also a qualified electrician and now head of an ever expanding commercial department. This mix of youth and experience enabled A&M Security to change with the times and have the solutions for all our customer’s security needs however big or small.

More recently A&M launched its fire and electrical division, based in Plympton, Devon, headed by Justin Walder, a fully qualified local electrician with 18 years experience, making the company one of the largest independent security, fire and electrical companies in the Plymouth and surrounding area.

A&M provides security, fire and electrical solutions for all aspects of the domestic and commercial sector. We pride ourselves on keeping right up to date with all the latest equipment and this has allowed us to be always one step ahead of our competitors.

Fully approved by the Security Systems Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB) and deemed "an excellent all round company" March 2007.
